The Pagan Man...
Call of the warrior and the hunter I hear cry,
While the presence of wise Druids watch over near by,
As pagan men we are, many indeed,
From ancient times to modern, we always have been,
Connecting with nature and the land is our creed,
Experiencing the divine in all that we see,
Living in balance with both goddess and god,
Reflections of creation in the times we be of.
Celebrating our seasons with food and with mead,
Festivals of fire and of solar we lead,
Warriors, and Druids, and farmers we've been,
With the cycles of nature and the lives that we've seen,
Retelling our myths of our ancients, so bold,
Warriors, travellers, and hunters of old,
Stories of strength and the times of great men,
With voyages and battles and magic we lend,
To the ears of the peoples of the communities we tend,
Keeping the ways of our cultures alive,
For the futures to see from that which they've strived.
In modern times the answers still there,
For all of us men to live and to share,
The call of our earth, her connection, her care,
We are all her children, her life we all share.
Pagan men, are many indeed,
For without us our earth could not balance nor breed,
So honour us men, and women folk alike,
Men so move forward in honour, wisdom and might,
With the future in all of us, I vision it as bright,
May the presence of great men walk always in light.
