Reborn as the Yuletide sun
Entering spring as the Horned One
Beltane consort of the Goddess fair
At my height in Litha heat
Dancing strong and running fleet
Drumming long upon the nighttime air (CHORUS)

Harvest brings me to my pride
Working to support and provide
Laying in before I disappear
With Samhain's waning days, I go
Though my flame may flicker low
It rises with the turning of the year (CHORUS)

In robust play and tireless work
Watchful of the foes that lurk
Loving all who dwell within my sight
Bouncing babies in the shade
Appreciative of mead and maid
Sharing all the pleasures of the night (CHORUS)

With my light all days begin
I am yang to the Goddess's yin
All who give themselves receive my call
Force contained within control
Laughing face of the human soul
